The project replaced a Varian EX Accelerator that was over 10 years old with a new Varian Trubeam Accelerator with Exac Trac, as well as upgrading the existing shielding and finishes. This project faced many obstacles when delivering the equipment, and the SKA team worked diligently with the staff, facility and contractor to provide a safe entry and installation path into the building. The finishes were selected to create a soothing environment for patients.
